Last weekend, I had the privilege of attending the Tony Robbins Summit, where I discovered a powerful tool that redefines goal-setting. Tony’s approach encourages you to not just set goals but to become the change you seek. Here’s a roadmap inspired by Tony Robbins:
1.Find Your Goal
- Develop a compelling vision and purpose.
- Clarify what you want and why you want it.
- Remember, reasons come first; answers come second.
2. Be Realistic and Honest with Yourself
- Get clear and honest about your current position.
- Identify obstacles and close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
- Understand that it’s 80% psychology and 20% mechanics.
3. Resolve and Create a M.A.P. (Massive Action Plan)
- Determine immediate actions to move toward your goal.
- Craft a Massive Action Plan, focusing on the top 20% for 80% of the results.
4. Do What’s Hard, Slay Your Dragons
- Embrace necessary changes.
- Acquire the required skills.
- Take massive action!
5. Develop Daily Habits
- Small, daily actions ensure long-term success.
- Identify new habits that propel you forward.
6. Raise Your Standards and Measure More Often
- Strive to become your true self.
- Recognize that you get what you tolerate.
- Regularly measure your progress.
7. Life is a Gift
- Celebrate victories along the way.
- Learn from each stage and appreciate the journey.
